日本で、かつて主に日常の着物として親しまれていた「モスリン（毛斯綸）」を現代人の被服「モスリンの服」として制作いたしました。

「モスリン（毛斯綸）」とは、羊毛などの極細単糸を平織りした薄地の織物です。日本では、その歴史から一般的には「モスリン」といった場合は羊毛のものを指し、私たちの使用している「モスリン」もまたメリノウール100%のものです。風合いはウールのほっこりとした素朴さをのこしつつも光沢があり、とろんとした独自の落ち感があります。染めた時の色が深く鮮やかで、他の素材では得難い発色の良さもこの素材の特徴かもしれません。

暖かく蒸れず、そのうえ洗濯が比較的容易なので日常の着物や長襦袢といったものに、よく使われていたそうです。年中使える素材です。

“Muslin” is a thin flat-woven fabric made from ultrafine single yarn such as wool. In Japan, when we say “muslin”, it usually means the one made from wool because of its history. The muslin we use is also made from 100% Merino wool. While it keeps the warm earthy texture of wool, it has gloss and unique smoothness. The fact that muslin glows deep bright colors when dyed, which is difficult to get in other fabrics, can be one of its characteristics.

Since it keeps you warm but does not make you sticky and also it is relatively easy to wash, muslin was often used for everyday kimono or chojuban, an underwear worn under kimono. It is a fabric which can be used year-round.

〈柄×かたち〉
好きな「柄」を選び、好きな「かたち」をえらび、組み合わせて作る服作り。

〈柄について〉
その時限りの出会いで見つけて下さい。基本約４m単位で気ままに刷毛染めをしています。おおよそ一柄に付き2着作る事ができますが、布をとる部分よっても色柄は変化しますので、全く同じ色柄というのは出来ません。

〈かたちについて〉
なるべく裁断を少なくすることで、生地の柄と質感を生かすという事をベースにデザインしています。シーズンで変化する事はなく、定番のかたちに、時々新しいかたちの追加があります。

〈サイズについて〉
フリーサイズとまではいきませんが、サイズの幅を調節でき、美しくかつ機能的に着用いただける作りになっています。

〈Pattern × Shape〉
We create clothes by combing the pattern and the shape you choose.

〈Patterns〉
Choose a pattern as if it were a once-in-a-lifetime encounter.Basically, we randomly brush-dye a fabric in increments of approximately 4m. A pattern usually makes two dresses but it is impossible to make the two dresses which are exactly the same in color or design as color and design vary depending on what part of the fabric is used.

〈Shapes〉
We design our clothes by minimizing the number of cuts in order to make the best use of the pattern and the texture of the fabric. We do not change our designs every season. We keep our standard shapes and occasionally add new ones.

〈Sizes〉
Although it cannot be said that our clothes are one-size-fits-all, they are adjustable in size and made to be beautiful and functional.

〈保管の注意〉
私たちの使用しているモスリンは、メリノウール100％になります。保管の際には虫がつきやすいため防虫剤をご利用ください。

〈お洗濯〉
お取り扱いは他のウール製品と同じように取り扱いください。水に通すと少々色落ちしたり風合いが変化する場合がございます。購入時の風合いを保ちたい場合はクリーニングに出されることをお勧めします。

〈ご家庭でのお洗濯も可能です〉
おしゃれ着洗い用の中性洗剤を使用し、必ず他のものと分けて水での手洗いでお願いします。軽く脱水をし、（不要なタオルで包んで脱水orネットに入れて30秒程脱水機にかける）水分を含んだままでの長期放置はお避け、すみやかに干してください。

〈アイロン〉
しわが気になる場合は、軽く霧吹きをし、中温でアイロンがけして下さい。

〈How to Store〉
The muslin we use is 100% Merino wool. Please use a bug repellent when you store the product as it can be infested with bugs.

〈How to Wash〉
Please handle the product as you do with other wool products. The color may slightly fade or the texture may change when it gets wet.If you want to maintain the color and texture of the product as same as when purchased, we recommend you take it to a dry cleaner.

〈The product may be washed at home as well.〉
Please be sure to hand wash the product with mild detergent made for delicates, separated from other laundry. Dry it lightly (dry it by wrapping it with an unnecessary towel or put it in a net and spin-dry it for 30 seconds), avoid leaving it wet for a long time, and immediately hang it to dry.

〈How to Iron〉
If it becomes wrinkly, give it quick misting and warm iron it.
